Evaluation of the Economy of Selected Public Sector Organization

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the economy of a selected organization with a social program, G-Centrum Mikulov, contributory organization. The first part of the thesis deals with methods of processing and the objectives of the work. In the other parts there is the needed theory, the analysis of costs and revenue and partly modified financial analysis. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the organization's economy and own proposals for solutions.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of social farming in the Czech Republic and in Europe, and the approximation of the functioning of social farming in practice on a selected subject. The bachelor thesis has a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, a literature research on the topic was developed and in the practical part, the functioning of the social farm Květná Zahrada z.ú., was described and evaluated in detail using the method of field survey, semi-structured interview and SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis identified a predominance of strengths that the farm can use to fulfil the opportunities and the outputs of the SWOT analysis, semi-standardised interview and field survey confirmed the effective functioning of social farm Květná Zahrada in the concept of social farming in the Czech Republic.

Cílem této práce je analyzovat firmu Čistírna u Kostelíčka z marketingového pohledu tím způsobem, aby mohl být navržen koncept pro změnu propagace firmy na B2B trhu. Teoretická část obsahuje definici služeb, marketingu a rámců použitých pro analýzu současného stavu organizace, kde jsou zmíněny marketingový mix služeb 7P, mikroprostředí a marketingový výzkum. Analýza současného stavu využívá nástroje popsané v teoretické části a je zaměřena na rozpoznání hlavních faktorů, na základě kterých je vytvořena návrhová část. V návrhové části jsou identifikovány návrhy na změnu propagace služeb, které organizace nabízí a jejich finanční náklady a také časový plán ve kterém by měly být změny provedeny.
Integration of socially excluded people in the "Nový prostor"project

Thesis Integration of the Socially Excluded in the New Space project deals with the possibilities and ways of help to people in a difficult social situation through involvement in the street paper sale with another support of social services. The theoretical part defines the concepts of social exclusion and homelessness as its most difficult form, social business or human, social and cultural capital. The practical part focuses on social business of the New Space, the characteristics of their clients. An empirical research part is included, with examination about the impact of the support of New Space clients in their-own point of view and the degree of their reintegration into society. Concept of Sustainability in business

The thesis deals with the theoretical basis of concepts such as sustainability and corporate social responsibility, always regarding the division into three pillars - environmental, economic, and social. These are the basic building blocks of all chapters, as well as the whole work. Based on these concepts, it was necessary in the first part to state the reasons why these concepts were created, and it is important to talk about them today - specifically in the chapters on the current situation of the world and its crises. The practical part is focused on a case study of the company Myslíš ?, which basically builds on these pillars and topics. The company is mapped for a period of two years from its establishment until the time of writing this work. The study concludes with a discussion that discusses whether the concept is correct and functional and asks other questions.
The controversial nature of a social enterprise as a commercialized organization of the civil sector

The topic of this diploma thesis is the commercialization of civic organizations, which we understand as the process in which they take over some procedures, methods and strategies of the commercial sector in order to generate some profit. As the highest level of commercialization, this work considers the transformation of civil organization into a so called social enterprise.At the next potential level, this civic organization would become a pure market enterprise acting as socially responsible. Thus, a social enterprise is defined as a civic organization, for which profiting is just as important as an increase in public benefit by fulfilling of its own altruistic mission. However, it is said that this social mission may be threatened by the economic one. Whereas the social enterprise combines those two opposing attributes in the form of a social and economic mission, it is considered to be controversial. That's why the aim of this diploma thesis is to determine the importance of a transformation of civic organization into the social enterprise for its life and how this transformation affects its functioning and its essence. Financial planning for social enterprise establishment and management

This thesis is devoted to financial planning related to the establishment and management of a social undertaking during its lifecycle. It follows from the research focused on the issue of social undertakings in business in general. It describes various fields of social business activities and the best practices in financial planning and management recommended in literature. Along with this, it identifies the current situation in financial planning and management at social undertakings in the territory of the Czech Republic. In addition to the monitoring of the current situation, this paper deals with the results of the evaluation whether the undertakings which adhere to the recommended business administration methods of planning and management achieve better results. The aim of this work is to find and specify the differences between successful and unsuccessful undertakings on the basis of the defined best practices and their financial management and planning and to find a "manual" on how a social undertaking should plan and manage in order to achieve optimum results. Ethical Context of Social Business

The bachelor thesis deals with social business. It is described as a relatively timeless business direction that reflects the ethical foundation of society. It looks at the phenomenon of meaningful work at a deeper scale of general well-being and underlines the trend of globalization in contrast to the ever-increasing need for the community dimension of human life. It focuses on the question of motivation of entrepreneurs in the social business territory and the direction towards reflection in the level of the current "labor dialogue". I deal with the context of the value of work for a person who is in a difficult life situation. The goal of the thesis is to introduce social business as a dynamic tension going beyond the earnings to ethical values and social well-being.
